How Thermo Ayous weathers

Like all natural timber left untreated, Thermo Ayous silvers to an attractive grey over time — the durability is unaffected. To hold the original tone, apply a UV-protection oil e.g. Osmo UV oil on installation and re-coat periodically.

Profiles & fixing

We stock Thermo Ayous in secret-fix and shadow-line profiles for a clean face with no visible fixings. Fix with stainless steel on battens, leaving a ventilation gap behind. We supply matched stainless fixings for every board.
